Hi, I’m Hope—the hands behind Hopemade Studios!

I’m a self-taught artist and ceramicist based in Northern Virginia, making small-batch pottery and digitAL ART (along with MORE TRADITIONAL MEDIUMS when the mood strikes).

My work grows out of an interest in color, pattern, and form, often drawing inspiration from the natural world. I started with drawing and digital art and now focus on ceramics and sculpture, where I value the mix of craft and capital “a” art.

making is how I stay rooted in myself and connected to other artists, and I hope my pieces spark a sense of brightness and joy for others.
